Hi, I’m Monica James, the heart and creative force behind MJ’s Unique Designs & Events. With a deep passion for organization, intentional planning, and meaningful design, I believe every wedding and special event deserves to be beautifully executed and thoughtfully curated.

Founded in May 2019 in Kenansville, North Carolina, MJ’s Unique Designs was created from a desire to serve couples and families with excellence, care, and creativity. Over the years, my team and I have built strong relationships with trusted, industry-leading vendors, allowing us to seamlessly bring each client’s vision to life.

From our first consultation to the final farewell, my team and I work tirelessly as your event planners, wedding coordinators, and designers, ensuring every detail is handled with precision, professionalism, and heart. We pride ourselves on creating an experience that feels organized, stress-free, and deeply personal—so you can remain present and fully enjoy every moment.
